Battery-Powered Electric for Dog Proof Fence

Jan 27th

One of the most frustrating habits that dog owners face is the tendency to dig. Dogs do too often because they are bored or irritated, although there are dogs digging in an effort to escape. Place the control for the electric fence on the inside of one of the posts that will be in the corner of your fence. Cava one of the bolts into the ground at the base of the pole, leaving the top exposed. Place the controller at a sufficient height on the dog proof fence so that the dog cannot jump and catch.

Place one of the brackets at intervals of 12 inches along the entire length of your fence from the inside. Starts in the corner under control, place the clamp to 4 inches above the floor using a hammer and nails. Continue placing clamps on the bottom of the dog proof fence until you have surrounded your whole garden.

Place a piece of wire around the top of the pin to ground and connect it to the ground pins on the back of the charger nearby. The largest electric fences used three bolts to earth, but one is only enough for a small dog proof fence.
